Description
Imam Yūsuf al-Nabahānī (d. 1350/1932) was a Shāfiʿī scholar, judge, Sufi, poet and a prolific author, having penned over fifty works in various Islamic disciplines, such as jurisprudence, theology, hadith, Prophetic biography, heresiology and Sufism. He served as Chief Judge of Jerusalem before being appointed Chief Justice of Beirut, where he remained for approximately twenty years.
